Why “enjoy-learningtodrive.com”?
When meeting a new pupil face to face on their first lesson I have been greeted by the following statement on several occasions over the years “Please don’t shout at me when I make a mistake as I am very nervous. “ So it is very pleasing that after a short number of hours tuition they sometimes say “I really enjoyed the lesson today.”
The fact is if you enjoy learning you will learn at a faster rate!! Remember those school days (for most of you it may not be that long ago) the subjects we liked most and did best at was very often down to the fact that we enjoyed the lessons and the teachers methods and attitude towards teaching that subject.
Learning to drive is no different and if anything it is essential that you look forward to your driving lessons as you are learning on a one to one basis and having to deal with stressful situations on a regular basis.
Over the years it has always been my objective to ensure that as far as possible the pupil enjoys learning. Occasionally however, through no fault of mine some pupils are just “over anxious” and never really settle and it is simply a case of perseverance on both parts.
A parting of the ways! Yes it has happened but very infrequently I am pleased to say. Unable to motivate the pupil we have come to an amicable arrangement whereby they may do better if they try another Instructor.
